At Al-Salama Hospital Laboratory, we are committed to provide not only a full range of laboratory tests for our patients, but doing so during 24 hours and in a professional way. In Al-Salama laboratory a highly skilled and dedicated medical team of clinical pathologists, laboratory assistants and patient service representatives are working together as a team to provide your physicians with valuable data to determine the presence, extent, or absence of disease, as well as the effectiveness of treatment.

It starts from right patient sampling and assuring that he followed all pre-testing precautions, periodical testing and recalibrating the equipments in order to ensure the validity and accuracy of the results.

Along 16 hours of the day, a specialized doctor is present in our lab monitoring all analysis processes, reviewing the results and giving lab reports. In case of any panic values, our lab doctor will alert patient’s treating doctor to take fast and right urgent decision.

- Bar-coding system:
Each patient takes a certain code that stacked to his sample in order not to cause any mixing between patients samples & his results. Also bar-coding system helps in archiving the results so that treating doctor can review it in case of need.
- We care about your treating doctor:
- Special samples bank for where the sample is saved for one month during which doctors can re-order and testing it to reconfirm the result or in case of sample loss.
- Treating doctor can review all patients’ investigations history by using Al-Salama electronic medical records system.
- Results are delivered to treating doctors through phone, Fax or E-mails.
