ASH Emergency department
In 2010 and after its renovation and expansion, Al-Salama hospital emergency department has become the largest ever private emergencyunit in Alexandria and one of the most updated and strongest emergency care in Egypt.
Each day about 70 patients come to Al-Salama emergency in order to receive urgent medical treatment. In addition each month our equipped ambulance is achieving more than 200 successful evacuation and transportation missions covering all Alexandria regions and other surrounded governorates and suburbs.
Equipments:
- Al-Salama emergency has 11 beds of “Paramount type”, each bed is equipped with central suction unit and Oxygen supply.
- 4 beds are movable critical beds supplied with central monitor and crush cart.
- Special prepared room for Obe & Gyn critical cases.
- Portable incubator for neonates.
- ECG devices & portable oximeters.
- Radiology and laboratory services are always ready for 24 hours in order to support our ER doctors with fast investigations required to give professional and right decisions.
Alsalama Emergency Staff:
Al-Salama emergency staff is one of our main competent values of Al-Salama ER unit. Staff consists of more than 15 emergency doctors and 20 nurses. Basically each member in ER staff should have the advanced life support certificate;also specialized doctors all have either Master degree or the Egyptian board in emergency medicine.
Alsalama Trauma team:
Trauma team service is only present in Al-Salama emergencyunit. Team consists of four critical specialists; in Surgery, Orthopedic, Neurosurgery and intensive care. In case of Road Traffic Accidents (RTA) or other multiple traumas critical cases we call our heroic trauma team at any time of the day who come in less than 5 minutes to handle the case and deal with all its problems.
